Installing The Gradebook Program

In step 1 below, is how the icon for the install program appears on the desktop when running Vista, its appearance may be slightly different on your computer.
- Double click on Tgp-install.exe to start the installation process.
- If you are using Windows Vista, a User Account Control pop-up may appear when you start Tgp-install.exe saying it has an Unidentified Publisher. In this case on you can choose the Allow option to continue.

No additional software is installed at the same time as The Gradebook Program and there is no fine print where you are signing up for services that you do not need or want.
- Normally you would leave the Destination location set to the default, but if you do want to change the destination for the program you can choose the Browse button that allows you to browse for a suitable folder for the program.
- It is recommended that Start menu folder be kept unchanged, but you can change it if you need to.
- Keep the option to have a desktop icon created for you checked, if you want one.
- After the previous steps, you are ready to start the actual installation by choosing the "Install" button.
- The actual copying of files during installation should only take a few moments, but it may take over minute depending on your system.
- Finally the Install Wizard is finished and you can immediately start The Gradebook Program if you want to.
- A shortcut for the program is optionally installed on your desktop and under the TGP group in the Windows Start menu.
